‘Sinners’ breaks record for most Academy Award nominations with 16 nods

(NNPA Newswire) – Ryan Coogler’s “”Sinners”” emerged as the most important contender on the 98th Academy Awards, incomes a historic 16 nominations—greater than any film has ever acquired in Oscar historical past. The announcement was made Jan. 22 by the Academy of Movement Image Arts and Sciences.
