Shooter kills and injures students at Kentucky State

Native officers declined to launch particular details about the identification of the shooter on the HBCU

FRANKFORT, Ky. — A taking pictures Tuesday afternoon at Kentucky State College left one particular person lifeless and one other critically injured, disrupting remaining exams and putting the HBCU campus on lockdown, in line with police.

Neither Beshear nor regulation enforcement officers revealed any specifics when it comes to the identification of the suspect or the alleged shooter’s motive.

Kentucky State College, based in 1886, enrolls greater than 2,200 college students and employs about 450 college and employees members, in line with the college’s web site.

Tuesday’s taking pictures comes amid a troubling string of violent incidents at traditionally Black faculties and universities this fall. In early October, 5 folks have been injured in a taking pictures close to Howard College in Washington, D.C., although none have been college students.
