Shaundel Washington-Spivey elected first Black and LGBTQ mayor of La Crosse, Wis.

Voters in La Crosse, Wisconsin, made historical past on Tuesday after they elected the town’s first Black and brazenly homosexual mayor. Shaundel Washington-Spivey got here out victorious within the native race in opposition to Chris Kahlow, profitable by simply 451 votes.
