South African airline CemAir has confirmed that it has postponed the resumption of its industrial flights to and from Plettenberg Bay Airport till later within the 12 months.

In a press release posted on its Fb web page on Thursday, CemAir stated: CemAir regrets to announce a delay within the anticipated resumption of scheduled industrial flights to and from Plettenberg Bay Airport. This was initially deliberate for April 2025 however has been postponed till a minimum of September 2025.
This resolution follows the latest collapse of the settlement between Bitou Municipality and Backyard Route Aero (GRA), the appointed operator of Plettenberg Bay Airport. The administration of the Airport has now returned to Bitou Municipality.
