‘Rogue’ Las Vegas Officer Tased and Violently Arrested Black Man Who Asked Why He Had to Roll Down Every Window Over Alleged Stop Sign Violation, Lawsuit Claims

A Las Vegas “rogue legislation enforcement company” has been accused in no less than two lawsuits over the previous two months of abusing and falsely arresting residents outdoors their jurisdiction.

The earlier lawsuit was filed in March by a white man named Derek Myers and it’s a part of a class-action lawsuit accusing Las Vegas Metropolis Marshals of being a “rogue legislation enforcement company openly working outdoors its authorized authority” that has subjected harmless folks to “tons of if not hundreds of unlawful searches and seizures, false arrests, and subjected them to emotional misery.”

Lance Downes-Covington’s Arrest

Downes-Covington’s lawsuit lists as defendants Guzman, who initiated the cease, in addition to deputy marshals Sarkis Jopalian, Janelle Mazza and Paul Hartz, who all arrived after the preliminary cease. The town of Las Vegas can be listed as a defendant.

Derek Myers’ Arrest
