Riverboat Brawl participants sell ‘Lift Every Chair and Swing’ Merch

Reggie Ray and Tammie Howard have change into internationally well-known after their involvement within the now notorious Montgomery Riverboat Brawl, which concerned a chair-slinging struggle between some Black and White individuals on the riverfront.

Viral movies present a confrontation between Kittrell’s deckhand, Damien Pickett, and pontoon boaters. Bystander video exhibits a white man speeding Pickett and punching him within the face. A number of others joined in on the assault and reportedly hurled racial slurs on the Pickett.

The brawl ended with 5 people being charged.

“As our police division investigates these insupportable actions, we should always not change into desensitized to violence of any type in our group,” Montgomery Mayor Steven L. Reed posted on X after brawl, per Advanced. “Those that select violence will probably be held accountable by our felony justice system.”

In the meantime, Howard and Ray intend to sue anybody utilizing their likeness or emblems with out permission.
