(AP) — New Jersey and the nation weren’t ready when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and the state “stays underprepared for the following emergency,” in line with an unbiased report inspecting New Jersey’s response to the pandemic that sickened almost 3 million individuals statewide and killed over 33,000.
