WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman pleaded responsible Thursday to a misdemeanor rely for triggering a fireplace alarm as lawmakers scrambled to go a funding invoice earlier than a authorities shutdown deadline.

He pays a $1,000 effective and serve three months of probation, after which the false fireplace alarm cost is anticipated to be dismissed from his file beneath an settlement with prosecutors.
