R&B Singer Angie Stone Dies in Alabama Car Accident at 63 Years Old

Nationwide — Grammy-nominated R&B singer Angie Stone, identified for the hit music ‘Want I Didn’t Miss You’ and as a member of The Sequence, tragically died in a automotive crash on March 1st. She was 63. The van she was using overturned and was hit by a truck on Interstate 65 close to Montgomery Alabama.

The crash occurred round 4:25am as reported by AP Information. Sadly, Stone was pronounced useless on the scene. The motive force and 7 different passengers have been taken to Baptist Medical Heart for therapy. Authorities are investigating the trigger.

Stone’s longtime supervisor, Walter Millsap III, confirmed her dying. In an announcement, Stone’s kids, Diamond and Michael Archer, mentioned, “By no means in 1,000,000 years did we ever anticipate to get this horrible information. Stone, a South Carolina native, began her profession with The Sequence, one of many first feminine rap teams. Their 1979 hit ‘Funk You Up’ turned a hip-hop traditional. She later joined Vertical Maintain earlier than launching a solo profession with hits like ‘Brotha,’ making an impression within the neo-soul motion of the early 2000s.
