*Award-winning radio legend Joe Madison died Tuesday following a protracted battle with prostate most cancers. He was 74.
“It’s with a heavy coronary heart that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Joe Madison. He handed away peacefully at house surrounded by household,” the household assertion mentioned in a social media publish.
Madison was a social activist generally known as “The Black Eagle,” who labored for Sirius XM City View, for the final 15 years. Within the household’s assertion, they urged his supporters to proceed “to be proactive within the battle towards injustice.”
Per journal-isms.com, Madison wrote December, “I’ve spoken candidly about my analysis to encourage extra males to prioritize their well being and discuss with their healthcare suppliers about testing and coverings. As NewsOne stories, Madison was recognized with prostate most cancers in 2009. Following therapy, it went into remission. Final December, he introduced that the most cancers had returned.
