Qhawekazi Mazaleni breaks her silence after Miss SA crown victory

Miss South Africa 2025, Qhawekazi Mazaleni, has damaged her silence after being topped final night time.

The 24-year-old was topped Miss South Africa 2025 on Saturday night time throughout a blinding finale at SunBet Area.

Luyanda Zuma and Karabo Mareka have been introduced as the primary and second runners-up, finishing the highest three finalists.

QHAWEKAZI MAZALENI SHARES FIRST MESSAGE AFTER BEING CROWNED MISS SA 2025

Taking to Instagram, she shared a heartfelt reflection following her Miss SA crown victory. She expressed her dedication to driving significant change throughout her reign.

“That is greater than me. As somebody who has skilled the brand new period of Miss South Africa from the within, I can’t wait to share this journey with you. Our mission is rooted in significant change in our communities, which is able to proceed far past my reign.

“This journey is just not mine alone to stroll, however I carry this unimaginable group that now we have shaped collectively. Might you might have the braveness to dwell in your goal,” she captioned the publish.

WHO IS QHAWEKAZI?

Hailing from Butterworth within the Japanese Cape, Qhawekazi is a devoted speech therapist with a Bachelor’s of Speech-Language and Listening to Remedy.

Presently, she is pursuing her Grasp’s, specialising in autism. She enjoys studying, health, and passionately empowers each ladies and boys.

In her mission assertion, she expressed deep concern over South Africa’s persistent unemployment, which stays above thirty per cent nationwide.

She highlighted the pressing want for youth-focused initiatives, noting that younger South Africans face disproportionate challenges securing significant employment alternatives.

By way of her platform, she plans to advertise expertise improvement, training, and entrepreneurship, aiming to cut back boundaries and empower future generations.

“To interrupt the cycle of unemployment, we should begin by addressing its root causes. When 81% of our Grade 4 learners wrestle to learn for which means, it exhibits us that our youth is left behind,” she stated.

“As your Miss SA, my coronary heart’s intent is to make sure inclusive training,” she continued.
