Pepperdine Celebrates Decades-Long Partnership with Girls Club of L.A. Through Foster Grandparent Program – Los Angeles Sentinel

Pepperdine College’s Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) marked a momentous event on Jan. 8, because it hosted Michael D. Smith, CEO of AmeriCorps, on the Ladies Membership of Los Angeles (GCLA). This occasion celebrated this system’s practically 50-year partnership with GCLA and highlighted the invaluable contributions of senior volunteers to the neighborhood.
