Only Black Man to Serve on Kansas Township Board Says He Was Illegally Removed Because of Racism

Nationwide — Duane Boldridge, from Atchison, Kansas, says that on March 7, 2024, he was faraway from his place as Treasurer by recall vote that was held illegally. He alleges that as the one Black man to ever set on the Walnut Township Board, he was subjected to false allegations, fraud, collusion, conspiracy bullying, and theft by the members of the township.

In September 2023, Gary Servaes was appointed to the board of Walnut Township and Duane alleges that he was a considerable battle of curiosity. Duane alleges that Gary purposely fashioned a vigilante group of township members who purposely took over the township for the aim of promoting himself gravel for the township roads.

Duane says that the recall vote occurred as a result of Duane wouldn’t vote to permit Gary to complement himself or his household by setting on the board. He feedback, “So the following smartest thing was to make use of the companies of native authorities businesses to take away the black man, a public lynching.”

Gary was later eliminated by majority vote in March 2024 however reportedly refused to step down. Apparently, the county lawyer wouldn’t honor the bulk determination of the board and take away Gary from the Trustee place.

Duane says that to finish the conspiracy, Gary used the companies of the next main gamers: Atchison Board of County Commissioners together with Cassie Quinn, Allen Reavis, Eric Noll, Patrick Henderson (County Counselor); varied banks together with Union State Financial institution and Financial institution of Atchison; and Attorneys Mike Kuckleman, Sheri Becker (Atchison County Legal professional); The Atchison Each day Globe, Michelle Phillips (County Clerk), and the Atchison County Sheriff Division

Duane additionally alleges that the next individuals had been additionally a part of the conspiracy: Mark Servaes, Mary Jane Sowers, Karen Seaberg, Janet Billington/Trower, Leo Navinskey, John Funk, Steve Handke, Invoice Pohl, Mick West, Jody Scott, Kansas Human Rights Fee, Kansas Legal professional Basic Kris Kobach, and different members of the Walnut township.

The Walnut Township Board conferences had been video taped from September 2023 to present, and could also be considered by the Public on Fb. (Seek for “Walnut Township Street District”)
