Missy Elliott and Chaka Khan Will Be Inducted Into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Missy Elliott and Chaka Khan are headlining the 2023 class of the Rock & Roll Corridor of Fame.

Different inductees within the Performer class embody The Spinners, Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, George Michael, Willie Nelson, and Rage In opposition to the Machine.

Within the Music Affect Award class, the “Godfather of Hip Hop” DJ Kool Herc and Hyperlink Wray will likely be honored.

Al Kooper and Bernie Taupin will likely be inducted into the Musical Excellence class.

Don Cornelius, the founding father of Soul Prepare, will likely be honored posthumously with the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Corridor of Fame Basis, shared his pleasure concerning the 2023 inductees.

“This 12 months’s unimaginable group of Inductees displays the varied artists and sounds that outline rock & roll,” Sykes stated. “We’re honored that this November’s Induction Ceremony in New York will coincide with two milestones in music tradition; the ninetieth birthday of Willie Nelson and the fiftieth Anniversary of the delivery of hip hop.”

In her illustrious profession, Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott has received 4 Grammy Awards and bought 40 million data worldwide. She was the primary feminine rapper inducted into the Songwriters Corridor of Fame and acquired the distinguished MTV VMAs Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for her influential and progressive music movies.
