Mississippi Activists Call for Sheriff Over ‘Goon Squad’ That Tortured Black Men to Step Down, Rejects Narrative That He Was Unaware of Abuse

Activists in Rankin County, Mississippi, are calling for the Division of Justice to proceed a federal probe into an area legislation enforcement division and the sheriff at its helm.
