militiamen ambush, kill several in Virunga

Suspected militiamen killed a technician and three rangers from the famed Virunga Nationwide Park within the DR Congo turbulent east, authorities stated on Thursday.

An unlimited expanse on the border with Uganda and Rwanda, Virunga is the oldest nature reserve in Africa and is famend worldwide as a sanctuary for uncommon species, together with mountain gorillas. DR Congo assaults escalate in latest days, claiming lives
