Jones didn’t make it a full yr with the SCSO after starting her corrections deputy position in Could 2023. Final week, Jones remained jailed on a $5,000 bond.
Her arrest comes one month after a corrections officer in Elkhart County, Indiana, was arrested for allegedly having intercourse with a feminine inmate, WNDU studies. Malachi Yoder, 26, was recognized because the suspect after a feminine inmate instructed corrections workers that she had intercourse with an unidentified male corrections officer. Yoder was arrested and jailed at Elkhart County Jail.
