Meet the Black Mom Turned Food Justice Advocate Championing for Healthier Communities

Nationwide — Tambra Raye Stevenson, a decided mom in Washington, DC, has emerged as a champion for combating for more healthy communities with the Meals Invoice of Rights. Hailing from Oklahoma, Tambra’s journey started with a childhood fascination with meals. She studied diet at Oklahoma State College, the place she established an endowed scholarship program to help girls in meals, agriculture, and diet. She expanded the WANDA scholarship program for girls in Northern Nigeria the place she traced her roots to the Fulani individuals.
