On Could 21, Black creator Dr. La’Tonya Rease Miles appeared at a guide speak to advertise her new memoir, “Good Woman: A First-Gen Origin Story.” Attendees gathered on the quaint James M. Duncan Department Library in Alexandria, Virginia, hoping to get their books signed and to listen to Miles’ inspiring story of being the primary in her household to attend and graduate from a four-year college.
As an alternative, they acquired an earful from a belligerent Trump supporter who crashed the studying.

Miles, who earned her doctorate from UCLA in American literature, reportedly chimed in along with her evaluation that the guide signing “went properly regardless of the clown.”
