Grammy and Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr. is scheduled to reunite with Emmy, Grammy and Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda on a Broadway stage.
The 2 stars of the legendary Broadway musical “Hamilton” will reunite for “Victorious Talkbacks,” a sequence of interactive post-show conversations with the solid and featured visitors after the Thursday night time performances of the Broadway manufacturing of “Purlie Victorious: A Non-Accomplice Romp By means of the Cotton Patch.”
“Purlie Victorious” was written by Ossie Davis, who starred within the manufacturing alongside his spouse Ruby Dee in 1961. Odom stars as Reverend Purlie Victorious Judson, the function originated by Davis.
“Victorious Talkbacks” will proceed to be moderated by Nationwide Black Theatre’s CEO Sade Lythcott and Govt Creative Director Jonathan McCrory. The daughter of Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, Dr. Hasna Muhammad, may also participate within the sequence of talkbacks.

Tony-winning singer and actor Melba Moore, who starred within the Broadway musical “Purlie” — which relies on the play “Purlie Victorious” — will be part of “Victorious Talkbacks” on Jan. 18.
Earlier post-show chats have included actor Tony and Grammy winner Billy Porter, actor Nicole Ari Parker and actor and comic Amanda Seales.
“Purlie Victorious” additionally stars veteran actor Vanessa Bell Calloway and two-time Tony nominee Kara Younger. It opened on Sept. 27 and is directed by Tony Award-winning director Kenny Leon.
