Lauryn Hill, Megan Thee Stallion to headline ESSENCE Festival’s celebration of hip hop

The 2023 version of the ESSENCE Competition of Tradition will have a good time the fiftieth anniversary of hip-hop and its world affect with two headlining feminine MCs that signify the previous and current of the artwork kind.

Again in New Orleans for its twenty ninth 12 months, the four-day pageant kicks off June 29 and can highlight Ms. Lauryn Hill, who will give a particular efficiency of the five-time Grammy-winning album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” in recognition of its twenty fifth anniversary. Different artists becoming a member of the 2023 ESSENCE Competition of Tradition™ stage embody worldwide afrobeats stars Wizkid and Kizz Daniel, and R&B crooners Monica and Coco Jones. Extra expertise and experiences might be introduced quickly.
