*A memorable scene from the 1993 movie “What’s Love Obtained to Do with It” turned unexpectedly genuine when a deliberate stunt went awry.
Actress Vanessa Bell Calloway has revealed that Laurence Fishburne genuinely slapped her throughout the manufacturing’s notorious cake confrontation sequence. Calloway portrayed Jackie, Tina Turner’s good friend, who makes an attempt to intervene when Ike Turner shoves Tina’s face right into a cake whereas at a diner. The scene was impressed by an incident from Tina Turner’s 1986 memoir.
