Korean Action-Comedy ‘Boss’ Sells to Multiple Territories

Korean gross sales powerhouse Finecut has closed a number of worldwide offers for native hit “Boss,” the action-comedy that has pulled in over 2.3 million admissions in its dwelling territory and ranks because the fifth highest-grossing Korean movie of 2025.

The gang-themed comedy has been snapped up by distributors throughout Asia and past, together with Irregular Studios for Cambodia, Star Leisure for the Indian subcontinent, and Clover Movies for Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Japan’s KDDI, Mongolia’s Izagur Media, and Vietnam’s Khang Media have additionally acquired the movie.

In North America, 213 Footage & Media picked up rights, whereas Cai Chang Worldwide secured Taiwan. Encore Inflight nabbed inflight rights. The offers had been inked following the movie’s screening within the Korean Cinema As we speak Particular Premiere part at Busan Worldwide Movie Competition.
