*Khloe Kardashian has formally petitioned a court docket to alter her son’s title from Tatum Kardashian to Tatum Thompson, after his dad, Tristan Thompson.
“The title change Petitioners determined to not choose a primary title when their son was born,” the submitting reads, per The Blast.
“Now that Petitioners have had the possibility to spend time with their son, they’ve selected the title Tatum Thompson.”
Underneath California regulation, mother and father can select whether or not they wish to have their father’s final title, their mom’s final title, or a mix of each.
Khloe selected the title of the kid’s father as they co-parent their two kids collectively.
Tatum was born on July 2022, becoming a member of the couple’s daughter, True Thompson, born in 2018. Citing sources “with direct data of the state of affairs,” TMZ reported that Tatum additionally wasn’t her son’s first title, although it’s unknown what it was.
As for the rationale Khloe initially left Tristan’s title off the start certificates, TMZ says it’s possible as a result of he received one other girl, Maralee Nichols, pregnant after Khloe and Tristan had determined to go forward with a surrogate to hold Tatum.
