Jeffries says not one Republican reached out after death threat from Jan. 6 rioter pardoned by Trump

U.S. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., the Democratic chief of the U.S. Home of Representatives, mentioned that not one Republican in management in Congress or the White Home has reached out to him after a person pardoned by President Donald Trump threatened to kill him.

“Not a single Republican has reached out both from the Home, the Senate, or the White Home, in reference to the loss of life menace and the arrest,” Jeffries advised reporters Thursday on Capitol Hill.

“However that doesn’t shock me by way of the setting that we’re in,” he added.

Christopher Moynihan was taken into custody on Sunday by New York State Police after declaring in textual content messages that he deliberate to “remove” Jeffries through the congressman’s talking engagement on the Financial Membership of New York on Monday.
