Veteran rapper Jeezy took to Instagram to bathe praises on an Uber driver who drove him from South Carolina to Baltimore for his August 1 live performance after his flight was cancelled.
The 47-year-old rapper re-shared a TikTok video of him explaining his 10-hour street journey to his followers on stage and the way the Uber driver ensured he didn’t miss his live performance, PEOPLE reported.
“I woke as much as my workforce informing me that each one flights to Baltimore and D.C. had been canceled. They then instructed me that my driver was on his strategy to decide me up, so we may drive to Baltimore for the following cease on the tour,” Jeezy, born Jay Wayne Jenkins, wrote.

“We pulled over to a small fuel station to regroup in SC. My workforce tried to rearrange a jet from South Carolina to Baltimore, however with the flights canceled do [sic] to climate, we weren’t positive if the jet would get us there on time, risking one other cancellation,” he added.

The Uber driver in a TikTok put up said that although he didn’t suppose his encounter with Jeezy would go viral, he stated it was “type of cool.”
