A 34-year-old Japanese man arrived in Cape City to finish a greater than 6 000km journey from Kenya to South Africa on foot whereas pulling a rickshaw.
Yuji “Gump” Suzuki was emotional as he thanked his supporters for his or her backing throughout his newest quest which began within the Kenyan capital in July and took him by Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia.
“I couldn’t make it with out you guys,” Suzuki stated.
“I’m working for enjoyable. I’ve been travelling for 9 years already and I get the ability from you guys so I provide you with guys energy, too. That’s my life.”
Amongst his different journeys, Suzuki has already pulled his two-wheeled cart from China to India (2016-2017), for two 500km in Europe (2017) and 5 100km throughout the USA (2022-2023), in accordance with his web site.
His rickshaw weighs greater than 100kg.
Suzuki wears a model of Japan’s conventional tabi socks whereas on his journeys, which he posts about on social media.
