Issa Rae Toasts ‘Blackness’ With Her Viarae Prosecco

Issa Rae teamed up with Inglewood’s premier Black-owned wine bar 1010 Wine and Occasions for an intimate soiree selling her Viarae Prosecco.

Issa Rae has teamed up with Inglewood’s premier Black-owned wine bar 1010 Wine and Occasions for an intimate soiree selling her Viarae Prosecco.

The Insecure creator formally debuted her classic glowing wine as a part of 1010 Wine’s “Meet The Winemaker” sequence, Vibe stories. The intimate wine-tasting occasion included gentle bites of salmon, oysters, wings, and sliders paired with chilled glasses of Viarae Prosecco and a specifically crafted cocktail blended with peach puree and fragrant mint.

“Cheers to prosperity, well being, and Blackness,” Rae informed the attendees, who clinked their flutes in help.

The tasting comes on the heels of Rae launching her Viarae model in January in partnership with E. & J. Gallo. Retailing at $19 for a 750-ml. bottle, the Prosecco is crafted completely from Glera grapes cultivated in Treviso, Italy, a hillside nation alongside the Piave River with a average local weather and well-drained soils that produce the right flavorful grapes. The brand new sparking wine options notes of wealthy floral and contemporary fruit with each sip.

As an LA native and proud supporter of “Everyone Black,” Rae confirmed pleasure when posing for images alongside 1010 Wine and Occasions co-founder and co-owner Leslie Jones.

The occasion highlights a brand new period within the wine and spirits area that goals to amplify extra numerous manufacturers and homeowners.
