Issa Rae, Octavia Spencer And More Stars React to the Actors’ Union Strike

Following the trail set by the Writers Guild Of America this previous Could, SAG-AFTRA, the union that represents 160,000 tv and film actors, voted to go on strike Thursday afternoon. Yvette Nicole Brown, who simply introduced the 2023 Primetime Emmy nominees earlier this week, expressed her assist on Twitter. “It’s official @sagaftra has voted to strike,” she wrote. “We will likely be becoming a member of the WGA on the picket traces beginning tomorrow. The union strike formally started at midnight. Celebrities and dealing actors are anticipated to be on the picket traces at the moment.
