Indo-British sports activities drama “A Sport of Two Halves,” which champions equal alternatives for underprivileged kids by means of soccer, has unveiled its first trailer.
The approaching-of-age movie, set throughout the U.Okay. and India, follows Sanjay, a younger British pupil grappling with questions of belonging. Misplaced within the pressures of academia, he finds himself in Hyderabad, India, teaching underprivileged kids on the dusty soccer fields. It’s on this surprising setting, surrounded by vibrant vitality and uncooked expertise, that Sanjay unlocks his true self.
The movie is directed by British Asian filmmaker Khayam Khan (“Bus Experience”). The solid contains Saaj Raja (Marvel’s “Eternals”), Harish Khanna (“twelfth Fail”), Lucy Jackson (“The Experience”), Swaroopa Ghosh (“Struggle”), Nikkita Chadha (“Barbie”), Sudha Bhuchar (“Mary Poppins Returns”), Chizzy Akudolu (“Holby Metropolis”), Rajiv Kumar Aneja (“Tiger Nageswara Rao”), Pawan Chopra (“Asur”) and Sachin Chaudhary (“Sacred Video games”).
The movie is written by Shirley Day (“My Day”). It’s produced by Nicola Gregory, Sheila Nortley and Dean Charles underneath the banners Okay Squared Movies, 2HotFilms and Emineo Movies and will probably be distributed internationally by Shiladitya Bora’s Platoon One Movies.

“A Sport of Two Halves” will launch in cinemas in India, U.Okay. and North America on Feb. 23.
