Ahmad Jamal handed at his dwelling in Ashley Falls, MA on the age of 92. Born Frederick Russell Jones in Pittsburgh on July 2, 1930, Jamal started taking part in piano as a young person and moved to Chicago following highschool. He’s been honored with a Nationwide Endowment for the Arts Jazz Grasp award; a lifetime achievement honor from the Recording Academy; and a Residing Jazz Legend designation from the Kennedy Middle for Performing Arts.
