HBCU president lauds students, officer for stopping Jacksonville shooter

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — A campus safety officer tipped off by observant college students probably stopped the killer who fatally shot three folks at a close-by Greenback Normal Retailer from finishing up his racist assault at Edward Waters College, the president of the traditionally Black establishment mentioned Monday.
