HBCU band to perform at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a spectacular vacation present that highlights highschool and faculty bands from throughout the nation. The marching band of Morgan State College (MSU) in Maryland was the primary HBCU band to carry out within the parade’s historical past, in 2019. This shall be a primary for AAMU. 

AAMU is in Huntsville, Alabama. The varsity makes a speciality of meals science, engineering, schooling, and enterprise levels, stated AAMU Assistant Vice President Aaron J. Thompson. Band Director Carlton Wright has led the AAMUmarching band for the final 10 years and is an AAMU alum from Montgomery.
