Harare execs pocket thousands as citizens struggle

Whereas many Zimbabweans battle to make ends meet, with some migrating to different nations for greener pastures, Harare Metropolis Council executives are raking in exorbitant salaries.

Lavish Salaries at Harare Metropolis Council Amid Financial Hardship

The city clerk earns as a lot as US$30 000 (R553,137.20) per thirty days, together with perks. The bottom-paid govt receives US$15 000 (R276 613.66), whereas the full month-to-month wage invoice for high administration stands at a staggering US$500 000 (R9 227 362.85).
