*We caught up with “Grown & Gospel” stars Elijah Connor, Nikkia Cole-Seashore, and Tasha Web page-Lockhart to dish on what they hope viewers take away from the explosive new WE television collection.
WE television’s Grown & Gospel, per a press launch, is “an all-new docuseries following a gaggle of career-driven childhood buddies looking for success within the Detroit gospel scene and past, navigating the murky waters of the music trade and hustling to step out of the shadows of their outstanding dad and mom to push in the direction of being the brand new era of Gospel.”

Tasha Web page-Lockhart is the daughter of Lisa Web page Brooks, one of many unique members of the modern gospel group “Witness.” A mom of two and up to date winner of BET’s Sunday Greatest striving to push her profession ahead…Tasha is engaged on a compilation album with stepbrother J. Brooks and struggling to carry on to her marriage. However will her sordid previous sabotage all of it?
Nikkia Cole-Seashore was rebellious in her youth and all eyes have been on her because the daughter of the legendary Dorinda Clark Cole of “The Clark Sisters.” Having overcome many demons on the journey to maturity, Nikkia is now balancing her fulltime job as tour supervisor for “The Clark Sisters,” motherhood and being the rock for her household, whereas her husband is in jail. Though she has come a great distance, she is in a continuing battle to flee the judgment of her previous.
