Gov. Wes Moore unveils actions on Juneteenth aimed at closing the racial wealth gap

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore introduced a pair of latest government actions on Thursday aimed toward restoring justice and shutting the racial wealth hole for Black Individuals within the state.

Marking the one hundred and sixtieth anniversary of Juneteenth, now a federal vacation commemorating the tip of the enslavement of Individuals of African descent, America’s solely Black governor introduced a brand new government clemency order for nonviolent hashish offenses.
