GoFundMe for Detroit Father of Six Mauled By Dogs On His Way Home Raises Over $40,000; Family Plans to Sue City, Owners

A GoFundMe for a Michigan man who suffered extreme accidents after being brutally attacked by three canine has raised over $40,000. 

Harold Phillips of Detroit was strolling residence from a bus cease after working errands at a mall when the animals got here out of a yard and charged him on Monday, Fox 2 reported.

“The canine bit his groin, his head, his again, his legs – they mauled him,” his partner, Shauntaye Phillips, advised the outlet.

Shauntaye created a fundraiser for his medical payments and some other potential bills wanted, together with a possible funeral. She championed him for being a great husband and father to his six kids. In an replace on Thursday, she shared that his situation is worsening.

The Phillips household plans to sue the house owners and town of Detroit. Their lawyer, James Harrington, stated the proprietor has a historical past of citations, CBS Information reported. He additionally claimed that they knew the canine, which had been euthanized, had been “harmful.”
