GoFundMe For Amaree’ya Henderson Slow To Gain Support

A GoFundMe has been created for Amaree’ya Henderson, the Black DoorDash driver who was shot and killed by Kansas Metropolis, Kanas police after a confrontation throughout a site visitors cease.

The account, which was created by Paulina Johnson, is meant to assist the household with funeral prices and different bills in laying him to relaxation. 

Amaree’ya Henderson’s dying hasn’t been broadly coated by nationwide media and his GoFundMe account has suffered due to it.

As of Could 16, the web page solely managed to boost $2,680, which is barely midway to its aim of $5,148.

Amaree’ya Henderson was killed by KCKPD on April 26 after a confrontation throughout a site visitors cease. Police haven’t launched a lot data surrounding the incident, however the household says he was unarmed and posed no menace to police.
