Georgia Veteran Gifted American Dream of A Mortgage-Free Home

Military Sgt. Aisha Hardemon acquired the a hundredth house within the Constructed To Honor program.

A Georgia veteran has acquired a mortgage-free house from an Atlanta-based homebuilding firm.

The PulteGroup’s “Constructed to Honor” program has now gifted 100 houses to veterans throughout america, with no mortgage strings hooked up. U.S.  Military Sgt. Aisha Hardemon grew to become the most recent recipient because the Military celebrated this milestone. Now, Hardemon has a brand new abode in Henry County, a suburb of Metro Atlanta, to name her personal.

PulteGroup handed the keys over to Hardemon on Sept. 5, in a heartwarming ribbon-cutting ceremony full with nationwide satisfaction. As eight planes flew within the air, she arrived with a bike brigade from the Patriot Guard, whereas dozens waved American flags as she entered the McDonough neighborhood.

The “welcome house” celebration was attended by state officers, together with Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, as they acknowledged the honour. Hardemon tearfully walked down her avenue as she approached her new house.

“First, I’d prefer to thank God,” Hardemon stated through the ceremony, in line with WSB-TV. “I’d like to offer God all of the thanks for retaining me protected, even within the instances I knew I wasn’t gonna make it.”

She recalled her six years of service within the Military, becoming a member of the U.S. army in 2007. Whereas honored to serve her nation, she remembers her excursions in Afghanistan and Iraq. There, she misplaced fellow troopers and endured her personal accidents. Regardless of the battles, her religion and inspiration from her grandfather saved her going.

The veteran added,” I deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan out of bravery, out of being younger and all the time desirous to observe in my grandfather’s footsteps.”

Her household’s legacy within the army has continued, as Hardemon’s personal son has joined the Marines. For her household’s dedication to service, the PulteGroup now honors them with their new house. The corporate’s CEO, Ryan Marshall, additionally emphasised the mission of the “Constructed To Honor” program.

“To have the ability to give again to those that have defended the freedoms is the factor that makes this program so particular,” Marshall stated.
