Generation X: The bridge between generations in Houston

Media, historians, politicians, and researchers usually overlook Technology X, people born between 1965 and 1980 (i.e., 45 – 60 yr olds).

They give attention to the Best Technology, Child Boomers, Millennials, Gen Z and even Gen AI, whereas Gen X quietly powers progress throughout the nation. The Pew Analysis Heart has basically proven that statistics reveal Gen X is the proverbial ignored “center baby.”

Within the media and humanities, they’ve launched views that problem stereotypes and authentically spotlight Black life. In advocacy and activism, they leverage social networks to affect establishments. Economically, Gen Xers constructed resilience by turning hobbies into companies, adapting to monetary realities like pupil debt and caring for each youngsters and growing old dad and mom, usually with out inheritances. They prioritize work-life stability and search to finish generational trauma for their very own households.
