Nationwide — Moad Mohamed Al-Gaham, a former fuel station clerk in Detroit, Michigan, has been sentenced to twenty to 50 years in jail after capturing and killing Anthony McNary throughout an argument over beef jerky in 2023.
The capturing occurred in 2023 at an ExxonMobil fuel station on Vernor Freeway. Al-Gaham was working behind the counter when McNary reportedly picked up beef jerky and positioned it in his pocket. The 2 obtained into an argument, and Al-Gaham took the jerky from McNary and returned it to the shelf.
