Frederick Anderson’s FW24 Brings Happiness to the Blues and Culture

Frederick Anderson’s curiosity in nation music and its affect on the Blues was sparked by an off-the-cuff dialog together with his sister. He was captivated by the artwork of storytelling in music and the way it can convey the message of overcoming laborious occasions via the facility of tradition. Anderson offered the gathering within the Prince George Ballroom in Midtown the place he performed a mixture of blues and nation music. The present’s first half had a mixture of fashions working the runway carrying completely different colours and kinds of mullet wigs, signature crochets, lace clothes, bralettes, sheer slips and prim blouses paired with all-leather micro shorts. Within the second half, issues had been taken up a notch with a mix of wool and leather-based mashups on trousers, capes and clothes, specializing in a lady’s life-style. The present’s make-up evokes nostalgia from the early ’90s and ’30s, with loads of pink eyeshadow utilized across the eyes, heavy blush on the cheeks and daring black eyeliner. The fashions wore two shades of pink on their higher and decrease lips. The designer’s assortment conjures up magnificence traits, with a deal with contouring.

Because the present got here to an in depth, Jon Batiste’s “FREEDOM” music performed within the background whereas the designer made an look wearing a blue blazer, white collared shirt, denims and white sneakers. The designer’s assortment was an effort to attach folks via music and tradition. “To me, I simply determined I am taking my inspiration from the Blues, nation music and the early 90s and let’s mesh it collectively,” Anderson stated. “We attempt to take inspiration from one another and notice that our variations are our celebration.”
