Filmmaker Makes History as First Black Woman to Produce a Cinematic Hip-Hop Musical, Debuts Film at Red Carpet Gala

Nationwide — Deborah Jane, the screenwriter and Govt Producer of Unusual Fruit: The Hip-Hopera, is the primary Black girl filmmaker to ever produce a cinematic Hip-Hop-musical. Her groundbreaking movie just lately celebrated its Pink Carpet Gala and Movie Premiere held on the Frida Cinema in Santa Ana, California.
