Father of 7 killed by suspected drunk driver after watching son win football title

Members of a New York household are mourning the lack of their patriarch after he was killed by an alleged drunk driver on November 11. Per the Highland Present, Joe Stubblefield, who’s survived by seven youngsters, was using in a automobile together with his 7-year-old son on the time of the deadly collision.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Workplace in an announcement stated 56-year-old Marcos Martinez was driving northbound on Route 9 close to Stone Ridge Street when his automobile crossed over the double yellow line and struck Stubblefield’s automobile. A relative who spoke with the Highland Present stated Stubblefield was killed only a day after he watched his 17-year-old son and his highschool workforce win the Part I, Class D soccer title. The workforce will dedicate a November 17 regional recreation to him.
