Father Noir is a visible memoir celebrating Black fatherhood, created by Black Love founder and father of three boys, EBONY 2022 Energy 100 awardee Tommy Oliver. Black love is fatherhood, and since we all know how essential visibility is to impacting the narrative, we’re highlighting candy moments between a few of our favourite fathers and their children.
All month lengthy—that includes Michael Ealy, Lance Gross, Karega Bailey, and Robbie Jones, in addition to Keith Powers and Marcus Scribner photographed with their fathers—Black Love is sharing the visible journey of Father Noir going behind the scenes throughout Oliver’s technique of capturing Black pleasure and the particular bonds between fathers and their children.
