Fade to Black Reading Series unveils 2024 winning playwrights

Shabach Enterprise is thrilled to announce the successful playwrights for the extremely anticipated Fade To Black 2024 Studying Sequence. Now in its seventh 12 months, the sequence is about to happen from Jan. 5 – 7, 2024, on the famend MATCH Theater (3400 Primary Road, Houston, 77002), with nightly performances from 8p.m. to 10:15p.m.

As a consequence of in style demand, a Sunday Matinee at 3p.m. has been added to the schedule.

The Fade to Black Studying Sequence is Houston’s premier brief play competition devoted to showcasing the latest works of Black playwrights. Every play is 10 minutes lengthy, permitting attendees to expertise a number of highly effective works by these playwrights.

This 12 months’s chosen performs promise to captivate audiences and additional solidify the competition’s dedication to offering a platform for rising African American playwrights.

Shabach Enterprise invitations all theater lovers, supporters of the humanities, and people desperate to witness the cultural richness of Houston’s theater scene to attend the Fade to Black 2024 Studying Sequence.

“Don’t miss the chance to witness the brilliance of those successful playwrights and expertise the ability of their tales,” stated a Shabach Enterprise consultant. “Fade To Black is greater than only a studying sequence; it’s a motion that has reshaped the panorama of Houston’s theater neighborhood. Since its inception, Fade To Black has been devoted to selling the works of underrepresented African American playwrights, offering an important platform for his or her voices to be heard.”

Shabach Enterprise is a pioneering pressure within the Houston theater scene, devoted to fostering the expansion and recognition of underrepresented voices by means of initiatives just like the Fade To Black Studying Sequence.
