Each day, Black ladies should confront the twin forces of race and gender discrimination in nearly each aspect of life — and it’s taking its toll on our well being. 

Based mostly on a report by the Nationwide Girls’s Regulation Middle, Black ladies earn 65 cents for each greenback paid to white, non-Hispanic males. And analysis reveals that no matter our training or expertise, we nonetheless earn lower than white males, leading to a staggering lack of greater than $840,000 over the course of a 40-year profession.
