Emergency Housing Voucher program faces funding crisis

A federal housing program credited with stabilizing the lives of tens of 1000’s of People fleeing homelessness, home violence or human trafficking is working out of money and time. 

The Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) program, which helps greater than 60,000 households throughout the nation, is anticipated to exhaust its funding by the top of 2025, based on a letter from the U.S. Division of Housing and City Growth (HUD).
