“One Battle After One other” star Teyana Taylor and “Love Island USA” breakout Olandria Carthen shall be among the many particular honorees at this 12 months’s Ebony Energy 100 Gala.
Taylor shall be acknowledged as Entertainer of the 12 months on the ceremony, scheduled for Nov. 4 on the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The award salutes the multihyphenate expertise for “redefining the that means of entertainer for a brand new era,” following a run of current hits together with an award-worthy efficiency in Paul Thomas Anderson’s newest movie and the discharge of the visible album, “Escape Room.”
Carthen, who turned a social media sensation after showing on “Love Island USA,” is the winner of the fan-voted Individuals’s Alternative Award.
