EBONY FWD NATIONWIDE SPOTLIGHT ARTIST: Tiffanie Anderson Created An Art Medium That’s All Her Own

Tiffanie Anderson, identified and celebrated as The Fairly Artist, took a singular route towards her craft, despite the fact that she did not decide up a paintbrush till her early twenties. 

“I used to be in a band referred to as Girlicious, and we have been signed to Interscope underneath the Pussycat Dolls umbrella,” she tells EBONY. “Being part of that form of group, you lose a way of individuality, and your mind will get trapped in a loop of [what you are] doing and saying and hair and garments. Just about all the pieces in your life is centered across the model of the band. I felt like I used to be dropping myself and wished to do one thing I loved that had nothing to do with music or the group.” 

To reclaim her identification, Anderson branched out and wholly embraced one other calling. Though she had no formal artwork training, artistry was in her DNA, as she had made drawings as a baby.

“I all the time loved drawing once I was younger,” she shares, “however drawing might be time-consuming, so I made a decision to attempt portray. The remaining is historical past.” 

Anderson’s meteoric rise is a testomony to her inherent and natural expertise. Not solely did she commerce in her mic for a canvas, however she additionally developed her distinctive creative medium.
